The John A. Moran Eye Center is pleased to welcome Natalie Oberer, OD, a comprehensive optometrist providing care for patients at our University of Utah and Parkway (Orem) locations.
Dr. Oberer offers eye care for both children and adults, including eye exams, eyeglasses, and contact lenses. She has particular expertise in low vision rehabilitation, geriatric optometry, dry eye management, and specialty contact lenses.
A Colorado native, Dr. Oberer earned her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University and went on to complete a residency with the VA Healthcare System in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There, she gained extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of ocular conditions, especially among older adults and patients with complex medical histories.
鈥淢y time in New Mexico gave me a deep appreciation for how important access to care is,鈥 said Oberer. 鈥淚 saw firsthand the difference that timely, thorough eye care can make, and that continues to drive how I approach my patients every day.鈥
Outside of work, Dr. Oberer enjoys exploring Utah鈥檚 mountains and trails with her partner, Will, and their dog, Moose. She鈥檚 also an avid baker, cook, and skier.
